Tiger Minor League Recap – April 2nd, 2025
Toledo Mud Hens (Triple-A)
Final: Round Rock 5, Toledo 2
Top Performers:
Blaine Crim – 3-for-4, 3B, HR, 4 RBIs
A 27 year old 1B in his 4th year at Rock Round drove in most of their runs tonight first on a single in the 5th and then 3 more with his walk off HR in the 9th off of PJ Poulin. Great early season game for Blaine, he walked in his first PA, followed that up with a triple to go with his two hits to drive in the runs.
Honorable Mention:
Jace Jung – 2-for-4, 3B, HR, 1 RBI
Jace wouldn’t be denied to triple and HR in the same game either. His HR in the 8th tied the game as he collected 2 of the 3 XBHs for the Mud Hens tonight, raising his OPS to 1.478 on the season.

Brendan White – 2.0 IP -2 H – 0 BB – 3 Ks
Like Emiliano Teodo yesterday, Brendan White worked a good quick couple of innings. He was able to get 5 whiffs on 8 swings off his fastball tonight and an overall 50% CSW%. The Round Rock hitters couldn’t do much to him tonight.
Game notes: This was a close, low scoring game until the Blaine Crim home run. Both teams were generating plenty of whiffs including a whopping 10 for Jacob Latz. Ultimately it was the home run that did the Mud Hens in tonight as they’ll look to bounce back.
Up next: Game 3 of the series is tomorrow night where Matt Manning gets his second start for Toledo on the year. The Mud Hens will face Caleb Boushley, who was supposed to start tonight.
