Lakeland Flying Tigers (Single-A)
Final: Bradenton 2 – Lakeland 1
Top Performers:
Bryce Rainer – 1 for 4, HR, BB, RBI
Rainer has been on fire lately, hitting missiles all over the yard. He went deep today and continues to show why he was the Tigers’ first round pick last season.
Woody Hadeen – 1 for 4, BB
Franyerber Montilla – 2 for 4, BB
Hayden Minton – 5IP, ER, 3H, 0BB, 6K
It wouldn’t be Sunday unless Hayden Minton went out and shoved. The former 9th rounder has been nothing short of electric this season: 18IP, 2ER, 9H, 1BB, 23K. Minton likely won’t be a Flying Tiger for much longer if he keeps this up.
Duque Hebbert – 2.1IP, ER, 2H, BB, 2K
Ignacio Briceno – 1.2IP, 0ER, 2H, 0BB
Game Notes:
Lakeland dropped a nailbiter despite a solid day on the mound, as a Bryce Rainer solo shot accounted for the only Flying Tigers run in a 2-1 loss.
