Game Notes:

Lockhart struggled mightily with command all night and couldn’t find the zone. Toledo gave up 3 runs in the 1st and was unsuccessful at making a complete comeback all night. Although a loss, Toledo out hit Worcester 9 to 7 and committed zero errors. Three Mud Hens also put a dent into a game. First of all, #4 TMLR prospect, Hao-Yu Lee had a successful game and Jahmai Jones continued his hot streak, hitting a 3 run tank in the 4th inning and Ryan Kreidler looking speedy on the base paths.

Game Notes:

The Whitecaps captured their 16th win of the year in a walks and singles masterclass. West Michigan recorded 9 hits against the Timber Rattlers with all of them being singles, including 8 walks. Max Clark shelled out 4 hits, including a perfect bunt single down the third base line. Luke Gold delivered a 2 out single in the 5th to drive in two runs in a three run 5th inning. The pitching held their own despite giving up 7 walks of their own and a big fly. Marks, Ashman, and Jimenez combined for 5.1 IP and didn’t allow a run in the second half of the ball game to solidify the game for the Whitecaps.

Game Notes:

Daytona scored all three of their runs in the 1st two innings and completely lost control of the strike zone afterwards. Lakeland only put together 4 hits, including Cristian Santana’s first of the year, but the team walked a total of 10! times in tonights game. Last years 2nd round pick Owen Hall continued to show impressive stuff although had his issues with the strike zone. The Flying Tigers even up their record at 12 a piece.
