Jung had a big day for the MudHens, going 2 for 4 with a bomb and raising his OPS to .870 on the year.

Game Notes:

The MudHens got hits from every batter but one today, exploding for 10 runs on 15 hits and 9 walks and defeating the RailRiders 10-8. Four ‘Hens hitters recorded at least two hits.

Toledo (22-23) heads home to the friendly confines for a 6 game set against Indianapolis.

Valencia stayed hot to begin the 2025 campaign, adding home run number 6 to his career best total already.

Game Notes:

Every SeaWolves batter but two recorded a hit in today’s game, with a balanced offensive attack leading to an Erie 7-4 victory over the Richmond Flying Squirrels. With the score tied 4-4 after 4 innings, the ‘Wolves ‘pen went to work, allowing zero runs in five innings. Erie scored 3 in the top of the 9th, and Yosber Sanchez shut down the Squirrels in the bottom of the inning to close out the win.

Erie (25-14) busses back home for a 6 game series against Hartford.

 

West Michigan Whitecaps (High-A)

Final: Fort Wayne 2 – West Michigan 3

Top Performers:

Peyton Graham – 1 for 4

Gipson-Long battled in his 3rd rehab appearance, allowing 5 hits in just under 3 innings but holding the TinCaps to one run.

Game Notes:

A three run 6th was all the WhiteCaps needed to take care of the Fort Wayne TinCaps 3-2. An Izaac Pacheco two run double was the big blow, and ‘Caps pitching was solid all game, holding Fort Wayne to just 8 hits.

West Michigan (26-13) travels back to LMCU Ballpark for a 6 game stand against Great Lakes.

 

Lakeland Flying Tigers (Single-A)

Final: Clearwater 4 – Lakeland 2

Lee completed five innings for the first time this season, throwing 42 of 65 pitches for strikes and lowering his season ERA to 4.67.

Game Notes:

Despite a strong start from Zack Lee, Lakeland got doubled up 4-2 today. A Jackson Strong homer accounted for the only 2 runs for Lakeland, as they scratched out just 6 hits on the afternoon.
