Game notes:
The first game of the doubleheader between Indianapolis and Toledo was clean and pitched very well. Both teams combined for seven hits and seven walks. Bligh Madris smoked a ball to right to tie the game in the 5th and was later followed by a go ahead double by Riley Unroe. Matt Manning took the bump in the 6th and struck out the side. Matt Gage survived a two out double in the 7th to capture a victory for Toledo. They briefly move to 24-23 and are above .500 for the first time this season.

Game notes:
Toledo sweeps Indianapolis in today’s doubleheader that featured stellar pitching in both games. Dietrich Enns lowered his season ERA to 2.45 and punished the Indians with eight strikeouts. Jace Jung hit his third home run since being sent down from Detroit. The Mud Hens stay above .500 and are 25-23 on the season.

The SeaWolves produced an offensive bonanza against the Yard Goats this evening. Erie took advantage of three unfortunate errors made by Hartford. Max Anderson and Roberto Campos build upon their strong seasons with the latter gathering a total of six total bases tonight. Joseph Montalvo threw 91 pitches tonight in 5.2 IP striking out six and walking three batters. Drew Sommers threw two scoreless frames to lower his era to an excellent 1.54. Erie is 28-14 on the season and are royalty of Double-A baseball at the moment.

Yesterday’s game between the Whitecaps and the Loons was suspended in the bottom of the 3rd inning and resumed play today. Rayner Castillo pitched three innings yesterday while Joe Miller finished the way today continuing his dominant season in West Michigan. Josue Briceño was activated from the injured list yesterday and homered in his 1st game back while also walking twice and not recording an out.

Game two of today’s contest between the Whitecaps and the Loons was highlighted by Max Clark’s grand slam in the 5th inning off of Great Lakes Roque Gutierrez. Max Alba struck out seven in four innings and walked three to lower his season ERA down to 4.99. Izaac Pacheco continued his hot streak that included a wonky hit game tying double. The Whitecaps beat the Loons in both games and are 28-13 on the year.

The Flying Tigers owned the mound again today. Lucas Elissalt grooved through a second straight start, punching out six batters in 3.1 IP. Luke Stofel struck out five and bolstered his 2025 campaign. Rehabbing in tonights game were Matt Vierling, Parker Meadows, and Wenceel Perez who hit a 2-run blast in the 3rd inning. Lakeland improves to 24-17 on the year.

This ballgame entered the top of the 3rd inning scoreless before the Yankees scored 3 runs and the Tigers answered with five of their own. Enrique Jimenez caught today and drove in 4 runs which puts him 15 total RBIs on the season in only eleven games played. Jesus Pinto hit his 2nd home run of the season and Maikol Orozco hit his first professional home run. Jatnk Diaz gave up four runs today all unearned in 3.2 innings pitched as he fell victim to a poor defensive performance behind him. The Tigers of the FCL jump to 10-4 on the season and sit atop of the standings in the FCL.
