Margevicius gave the Mudhens a solid start and pitched four innings of one-run ball. Lange continued his rehab assignment, pitching one inning allowing only one hit and one strikeout. He continues to have great feel to spin on the curveball and generate whiffs. The Mudhens beat the Clippers 5-1 after doubles by Ibanez and Navigato, and Lee and Hicklen home runs.

Not much offense today as the Seawolves only totaled two runs off five hits, but the star of the show was knuckleballer Kenny Serwa with six scoreless innings pitched as the Seawolves shut out the RubberDucks.

Minton pitched six scoreless innings today for West Michigan, but the real story was the offense. Stephenson and Clark set the table in the first inning and Briceno gets HBP. Graham walks, and Jenkins hits a grand slam to left center. Things continued to unravel for the Loons and by the 4th inning West Michigan is up 11-0. The party continues in the 7-8-9 innings, and the Whitecaps win 15-1.
