Toledo Mud Hens (Triple-A)

Game notes:

Indianapolis struck first as Ji Hwan Bae triples and Billy Cook homers. The Mudhens, however, came back in the ninth on a Kreidler single, Valencia single, Lee fielder’s choice, and a Jace Jung walk. Mudhens win 4-3.

Erie SeaWolves (Double-A)

Max Alba, recently promoted, started for the Seawolves today and allowed 4 runs, 3 of which were HR, in 5 IP. Thankfully the Seawolves had some run support – Holton doubled in the bottom of the 4th and Campos hit a sac fly to score Holton. Max Anderson singled in the bottom of the ninth to score Max Clark, and the Seawolves won 5-4.

West Michigan Whitecaps (High-A)

Final: West Michigan 4 – Peoria 0

West Michigan is leading 4-0 off a 3-run home run from Andrew Jenkins and a Penney sac fly to score Peyton Graham. Game was suspended in the top of the fifth inning due to rain, and will resume tomorrow at 6 PM ET, with a break to follow before the regularly scheduled game, which will now last only seven innings.

Lakeland Flying Tigers (Single-A)

Game notes:

The Flying Tigers fell to the Mighty Mussels 8-6 today. Owens struggled as he started and pitched only 0.1 innings and allowed 4 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 2 BB, and struck out one batter. Stofel was brought in in relief, and pitched 4.2 innings while allowing 3 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 4 BB, and 2 HR. The offense was not able to come back despite home runs from both Madris and Delgado.

FCL Tigers (Rookie Ball)

The FCL Tigers were named champions of the FCL North and will play the FCL Twins in Game 1 of the Semifinals on July 26!!

DSL Tigers 1 (Rookie Ball)

Diaz started for the DSL Tigers 1 today and tossed 4.1 innings allowing only 3 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 3 BB, and striking out 4. The offense was the real story today, as the Tigers scored on a Batista walk, a De Los Santos single, a Perez single, a *steal of home* by Angel de los Santos, and a Berti single to score Cristian Perez.

The DSL Tigers 2 overtook the DSL Rangers 2 today as Coba started for the Tigers and had a final line of 3.1 IP, 5 H, 4 R,K 4 ER, 2 BB, 3 K. Peguero pitched 2.2 scoreless innings of relief to follow, and Mercedes and Rodriguez pitching a combined 3 scoreless innings. Cris Rodriguez doubled and homered today, with Bazil also hitting a home run.
