Game notes:
The Mud Hens, playing as the Mud Crawlers tonight, made the price of admission worth it. Jace Jung hit his 11th home run of the season in the fourth inning. Troy Watson dominated the Saints, pitching six hitless innings and punching out six batters. Tanner Rainey, despite handing out three free passes held down the fort at Fifth Third Field. Gage Workman made a beautiful diving catch to begin the top of the ninth inning to preserve the no hitter before getting broken up a batter later. St. Paul managed to square two more hits and score a run before being put away for the night. Toledo is 55-50.

Game notes:
Erie scored a boatload of runs against Akron, who didn’t have the flashiest of fielding. Max Clark showed off his speed by legging out a double and a triple. Chris Meyers pulled a ball to right field in the second inning for a 3-run blast, his ninth round tripper of the season. Max Alba made his second career start for the SeaWolves and gave up four earned runs and was pulled in the fifth inning. The offense helped catapult Erie to a win to give them a record of 59-39.

Andrew Jenkins continued his massive hot streak by blasting his tenth home run of the season into left field in the first inning. Austin Murr played a big role in the win for West Michigan by hitting a go ahead triple in the bottom of the eighth inning. The three-bagger set up a three up three down save situation for Dariel Fregio. The Whitecaps are 66-32.

Lakeland played another game into extra innings today, but first, Lucas Elissalt pitched a gem against Dunedin. He threw six innings and gave up two runs, one being unearned and struck out six batters. Cristian Santana slammed his 12th home run of the season in the sixth inning. Lakeland went scoreless in the 10th and the 11th inning and Ignacio Briceno had the misfortune of inheriting the ghost runner on second base despite striking out four in two innings. The Flying Tigers lessen their record to 60-36.

DSL Tigers 1
Final: Arizona Red 4 – Tigers 7

Game notes:
The top three guys in the order had a phenomenal day, all combining to go 7-for-11 at the plate and scoring five of the seven runs scored in the game. Guillermo Batista launched his third home run of the day in the sixth inning which ended up being a three run innings for the DSL Tigers. Miguel Molina took the mound again, getting pulled in the fourth after surrounding himself in trouble all day but successfully managed to only give up one earned run.

Game notes: The second Dominican Summer League team played a relatively clean game. They only made one error and the pitching staff only walked two batters. Top international prospect, Cris Rodriguez, smoked a double and scored a run. Jose Ramirez collected some total bases by hitting a double and a triple. The DSL Tigers2 are 18-23.
