Game notes:
Sawyer Gipson-Long and Alex Lange continued their rehab assignments today, SGL pitching three scoreless, hitless innings with 5 strikeouts. His slider looked good today, generating three whiffs. Lange also had a scoreless hitless outing, striking out one and generating two whiffs on his knuckle curve “death ball.” The Mudhens come out on top 3-2.

Game Notes:
It was an excellent day all around for Erie. Burhenn had an outstanding start, 7 innings of shutout baseball and no walks. The Seawolves gave him the run support he needed as well, scoring three by the third inning. Josue Briceño then did what Josue Briceño does and homered to CF. Holton hit a three-run triple in the top of the seventh, and Josue Briceño then did what Josue Briceño does AGAIN in the top of the ninth – putting the Seawolves up 10-2.

Game Notes:
Andrew Sears had a dazzling start for West Michigan today, pitching 5 shutout innings and striking out 7. His ERA is now down to 2.95 on the season. West Michigan scored two in the first inning as Graham and Peck scored on a Callahan single. They followed up by scoring one in the fifth on two singles and a sac fly, and one in the seventh on a Graham double that scored Stephenson from second base. The bullpen did surrender three runs between Pacheco and Rodriguez, but the Whitecaps ultimately defeated the Dragons 4-3.

Game Notes: Stofel put up a solid start today giving Lakeland 6 innings of 2-run ball with 6 strikeouts. The story of the day, however, was the bottom of the ninth inning as Lakeland entered down two to Tampa. Hrustich singles, Tilien singles, MacDonald singles, and Hurtado hits a grand slam to win it for Lakeland 6-4.

DSL Tigers 1 (Rookie ball)
Final: DSL Tigers (1) 5 – DSL Nationals 4

Game Notes: Diaz started the game for the DSL Tigers 1 giving up 1 run and being replaced with Medrano. Medrano then pitched 3 innings, surrendering 3 H, 3 R (2 earned), and 3 BB. Valerie, De los Santos, and Castillo all followed with scoreless innings of relief. The bottom of the fifth inning was the story of the DSL Tigers’ offense, though, with Angel De Los Santos and Willian Berti both doubling and putting the Tigers up by one, ultimately being the game winning run.

Game Notes: Lopez had a rocky start for the DSL Tigers 2, with a final line of 3 IP, 7 H, 9 R, 8 ER, 3 BB, 5 K. Peralta then followed, surrendering 5 R, all 5 earned. Enter Encarnacion, who pitched 3 innings of 1-run ball and Armas who closed it out with 1 IP and a strikeout. The real story of the day, however, was the offense. Nestor Miranda started off the top of the second with a triple, followed up by a Cris Rodriguez 2-run double. Cris then smashed a two-run homer in the top of the fourth, making it 7-5 Tigers. The top of the sixth unraveled for the DSL Rangers, as Andy Mata started the inning with a single, Jonathan Moya was hit by a pitch, Enny Rodriguez singles and Nestor Miranda scores on a throwing error, Quinonez is hit by a pitch, and ultimately Nelson Marin hits a three-run home run scoring Enny Rodriguez and Josueth Quinonez to give the DSL Tigers their 15th run of the day.
