Game notes:
Montero with a solid start for the Mud Hens today as his fastball averaged 94.5 MPH and his nasty slider induced 5 whiffs, he struck out 5 in 6 scoreless innings. Hanifee and Horn both had a scoreless 7th and 8th inning, and Seelinger surrendered one unearned run in the ninth on a wild pitch. The offense started early with a Jace Jung homer in the top of the first inning that scored Trey Sweeney. Justyn-Henry Malloy had a big day as well, homering in the top of the third to put up the fifth run for Toledo. The final score was 7-2 as Edward Valencia singled to score Jace Jung and Akil Baddoo in the top of the ninth inning.

Game Notes:
Jaden Hamm had a rough start for Erie today as he surrendered 5 runs, 4 earned, in 4 IP. Pena took over for Kuhn in the sixth inning where he surrendered two more earned runs. The powerhouse Erie offense was nowhere to be found until the seventh inning when Justice Biggie homered, Danny Serretti tripled, and Max Anderson singled to put the Seawolves on the board, making it 6-3. This was all the offense was able to come up with today, ultimately falling to the Flying Squirrels 8-3.

Alex Cobb continued his rehab assignment today with a final line of 2.1 IP, 2 H, R, ER, 2 BB, 3 K. Minton got the majority of the innings today, pitching 4.2 scoreless innings. The offense was all over Cedar Rapids pitching today, with a few extra base hits and a Pacheco home run.

Game Notes:
DSL Tigers 1 pitching started off a little rocky today between Marinez and Medrano – a total of 8 runs (7 earned), and 12 BB between the both of them. Valerio and Balanta finished off strong the last 2.1 innings with just 1 hit and 0 ER. Sanchez showed excellent plate discipline today, walking 4 times and contributing an RBI. Angel De Los Santos shows off his speed and instincts with two stolen bases.
