Trade deadline acquisition Randy Dobnak had his best start in the Tigers organization, tossing five innings of one run ball.

Game Notes:

The Hens got hits from 6 of the 9 starters on the way to a 7-5 victory over Columbus.

Erie SeaWolves (Double-A)

Final: Chesapeake 6 – Erie 1

Top Performers:

Ben Malgeri – 1 for 3, 2B

Trevin Michael – IP, 0ER, 0H, 0BB, K

Michael has had a strong 2025, and lowered his ERA at Erie to 1.23 with a scoreless inning today.

Game Notes:

The SeaWolves bats had a rare off day, collecting just one run on two hits en route to a 6-1 loss to Chesapeake.

Erie (66-47) heads home for a 7 game series against Harrisburg.

West Michigan Whitecaps (High-A)

Final: Fort Wayne 0 – West Michigan 5

Peyton Graham – 4 for 5, RBI, 2SB

Izaac Pacheco – 2 for 5, 2HR, 4RBI

Pacheco continues to swing a hot bat, raising his OPS to .910 with a two homer game.

Jack Penney – 2 for 4

Preston Howey – 4IP, 0ER, 0H, BB, 4K

Game Notes:

The Whitecaps utilized a strong start from Preston Howey as well as a two home run game from Izaac Pacheco to take home a 5-0 victory over Fort Wayne.

Lakeland Flying Tigers (Single-A)

Reyes continues to have an excellent 2025 season, lowering his season long ERA to 2.51 with six innings of one run ball.

A three run eighth doomed the Flygers today, as they dropped a tough one to Clearwater 4-2.
