Toledo Mud Hens (Triple-A)

Game Final: Rochester 10 – Toledo 19

Game notes:

Margevicius had a bit of a rocky start for Toledo with a final line of 4 IP, 6 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 3 K. The Red Wings were seeing his fastball really well today. On a positive note, it was a great day for Max Anderson. He started the RBI party with a two-run double in the top of the first inning, and then hit a three run home run in the top of the eighth, totaling 5 RBI for the day. Despite a great offensive performance, Toledo pitching was unable to hold it down on the mound, resulting in a 10-9 loss.

Erie SeaWolves (Double-A)

Final: Erie 6 – Harrisburg 2

Game notes:

Serwa struggled with his control today as he walked 5 in 2.2 IP. The bullpen, however, picked him up and finished off the game only surrendering one more run. Max Clark hit his fifth home run of the year, and Liranzo found a couple barrels after a small slump since being a bit banged up. Erie’s run game continues to put pressure on their opponents with stolen bases from both Peck and Holton.

West Michigan Whitecaps (High-A)

Final/10: West Michigan 3 – Lansing 2

Game notes:

It was a low scoring game today, but the Whitecaps held the Lugnuts to only 2 runs, securing the win in extra innings. Miller had a great start for West Michigan, striking out 5 in 5 IP and holding them to only one run. Jenkins put the Whitecaps on the board in the bottom of the sixth on a single that scored Graham. Callahan followed up with a sac fly that scored Pacheco. They entered the bottom of the tenth inning tied. Archer Brookman singled to move the runner to third, then stole second base. The Whitecaps won on a sac fly by Peyton Graham, scoring Patrick lee to make it 3-2.

Lakeland Flying Tigers (Single-A)

Final: Lakeland 3 – Dunedin 2

Game notes:

Dylan smith pitched one inning for the Flying Tigers today, beginning his rehab assignment. His final line was 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, BB, K. Salcedo got the bulk of the innings, following up Dylan Smith’s performance with 4.2 IP, 2 H, R, ER, 2 BB, 5 K. Pogue, Garcia, and Berrier followed up with 3.1 scoreless innings of relief. It was a low scoring day for everyone today, Lakeland’s offense kicking it off in the bottom of the fifth with a Dumesnil double to score Tapia. In the bottom of the sixth, Santana singled to score Rucker and Hurtado, ultimately putting the Flying Tigers up 3-1 to secure the win.
