Everyone’s favorite knuckleballer, Kenny Serwa, started for the Seawolves today and ended with a final line of 5 IP, 3 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 3 BB, 6 K. Between Guasch and Magno, the bullpen held it down for Erie to get the win. Offensively, the party started in the top of the 2nd inning for Erie with a Holton single, an Alfonso single, and Holton would then score on a fielding error. Campos singled to put another on the board for Erie. They would tie it up next inning as Peck doubled to start the inning, Biggie singled, and Holton singled to score Peck. There was a bit of a rain delay, and then Erie would go on to score the game-winning run in the top of the eighth on Campos’ third hit of the day to score the speedy Stephenson. Erie is 73-51 on the season.
