Andrew Sears pitched five flawless innings, striking out three and yielding no runs. Trevin Michael piggybacked off of him and threw three innings of his own that held the line. The SeaWolves went up 3-0 after a run in the first and two in the second. Chris Meyers played a major role in helping Lakeland win the Florida State Championship for a second year in a row on Tuesday, while rehabbing and shot off with a home run in the seventh inning with no signs of slowing down. Erie plays tomorrow at UPMC Park in a win-or-take-all game at 6:35 PM which will decide who moves on to the Eastern League Championship Series.
