Welcome back to the Tigers Minor League Report

We brought back the Tigers Minor League Report website.

Back in July 2019, we started the Tigers Minor League Report website. Our goal was the same as it is now, to provide coverage about the Detroit Tigers minor league system.

Equally important to remember is our original staff . James Chipman, Kenon Carter, Chris Brown, Adam Dubbin and Rogelio Castillo wrote up reports, articles and a few of us hit the fields to provide live looks in at players across the Tigers’ minor league system.

Last season, Chris, Rogelio and newcomer Jake Boes along with James Chipman, went to over 50 minor league games last season. With our reports at Prospects Live and at Motor City Bengals, we wanted to bring it back to one central location.

The purpose behind the Tigers Minor League Report:

We love baseball and with the growth of the Detroit Tigers minor league system within the last few seasons, our writers have experience in covering the system.

  • Chris Brown has written about the minor league system for over 10 years.
  • Rogelio Castillo, who has written for Motor City Bengals and now is covering the Detroit Tigers for Woodward Sports.
  • Jake Boes brings a wealth of baseball knowledge and his prospect reports provide insight to each player.

Truly, we would not be here without a few names. James Chipman, our original co-founder of TMLR, taught us the basics of writing reports . James and Chris come from one of the best sites in Detroit Tigers prospect coverage, TigsTown.com, founded by Paul Wezner and Mark Anderson.

As far as how we fund the site and the work we do? We have 17 Patreon subscribers and out of our pocket. If you like to support the work we do, please consider subscribing to our Patreon or donating via PayPal. All the money goes back into producing content. We have families of prospects who cannot attend every game, thus; we do the best we can to fill the void.

Finally, our goal is to provide the best content possible. We appreciate everyone who has subscribed or check out any of our content. We are beyond grateful for the feedback we have received.
