Bailey Horn — 2.0 IP, 2 hits, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BBs, 3 Ks. Bailey Horn got the start today for the Mud Hens in what was a bullpen game since the normal starter, Keider Montero, had been called up to start for the Tigers. Bailey got his 3 Ks on just 37 pitches, though the entire bullpen did well.
Game notes:
This game went into extra innings. Jace Jung was a bright side as he got on base 5 times. Ultimately the Mud Hens lose on their bullpen day that saw Riley Unroe get the last 1.1 innings giving up 2 runs, none of them earned, after going 2-for-5 with one of the only 2 XBH the Mud Hens could muster up.

Troy Melton — 5.0 IP, 2 hits, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BBs, 3 Ks. Troy Melton gets his first win on the year and extends his scoreless streak to start the season to 13 innings. He needed just 73 pitches to get to his longest start of the season and even showed off his athleticism.

Thayron Liranzo gets his first AA blast as the Seawolves get the shutdown this afternoon. Matt Seelinger followed up Troy Melton’s best start of the year with 3 IP and 5 Ks. Matt, Troy, and RJ Petit combined to give up just 4 hits and walk 2 in the win to give them their 8th win on the young season.

It’s Wednesday so naturally we will get a Whitecaps blow out and a Josue Briceño grand slam. The bullpen came in and threw 5 innings in this game, giving up 0 runs, 0 hits, striking out 6 batters. Colin Fields took a majority of those innings. Joe Miller was able to get 5 Ks, walked 2, gave up 6 hits including a HR in a pretty good start today.

Paul Wilson — 2.2 IP, 2 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 2 BB, 4 K. Paul Wilson continued to throw just a 4-Seamer and Sinker, largely missing the strike zone. He sat 93-94, but touched 96.
Game Notes:
Not the best of games for the Flying Tigers this year. Duque Hebbert gave up 6 runs and recorded just one out and the offense anemic getting just 4 hits and drawing zero walks today. Franyerber Montilla added another 100+ MPH BIP.
