Game notes:

The Mud Hens faced the Louisville Bats in downtown Toledo, Ohio this evening. Jackson Wolf made his seventh appearance for Toledo since being acquired in the Casey Mize deal, and he dazzled. His fastball was up nearly two ticks today in a start where he was an out shy of a quality start. Wolf is eligible for the Rule Five draft this offseason, so he is a name to keep an eye on as long as there is no lockout. A three-run blast courtesy of Jace Jung is all of the run support the Mud Hens needed today. Nick Sandlin, Jack Little, and Tanner Rainey combined for 3.1 scoreless innings to finish the job. Toledo has to finish the season 3-1 in order to finish at .500.

Erie SeaWolves (Double-A)

Game notes:

Erie is off, but tomorrow they travel to Richmond for game two of the Division Series. Knuckleballer Kenny Serwa will take on the No. 4 pick of the 2026 MLB draft, Jackson Flora. He has thrown three innings in professional baseball, all for the San Jose Giants in Low-A, the same class as the Lakeland Flying Tigers.
