Game notes:
Low scoring game today with all the runs scored late in the game. Jahmai Jones walks it off for the second game in a row, this time with a long single to the opposite field, giving Toledo their 4th win in a row. Carlos Mendoza gets hot, getting on base 4 times and has brought his OPS to 1.006 in Toledo so far this year. Matt Manning had his second good relief outing getting 2 IP, 4 Ks. His fastball sat 95, touching 96.

This game had to go into extras today, going 12 innings ending on a 2-run shot from Jake Holton. The bullpen came in and gave up just 1 ER in 7.1 IP while striking out 11 of the 29 batters they faced, led by Matt Merrill’s 3.0 IP and 6 Ks.

Game Notes:
The Flying Tigers fell behind early in the game and fell further behind as the game went on. Bryce Rainer drove in all three of the Flying Tigers runs tonight. 4 hitters had 3+ Ks.
The pitchers weren’t much better. Lucas Elissalt started the game and gave them 4 innings of 9.00 ERA pitching. Chris Williams Jr. was the best of the 4 pitchers tonight.
