Toledo Mud Hens (Triple-A)

Enns, SP – 5 IP, 3 H, R, ER, 4 K

Game notes: A good start for Enns going 5 innings surrendering only one run. His fastball touched 96, and he ended the night with 12 whiffs, 4 on the fastball, cutter, and changeup. A good two innings of relief from Gage as well fanning two, and then Miller came in for the close. Offensively Serven and Margot both doubled, and Navigato, Kreidler, and Jung went yard.

Tomorrow’s projected starters: Margevicius (3-1, 2.61 ERA) vs. Webb (2-4, 5.60 ERA)

Erie Seawolves (Double-A)

Final: Richmond 4 – Erie 3

Game notes: Seawolves fall to the Flying Squirrels in extras as two singles win the game for Richmond. Hamm, however, had a good start fanning 7 and Allen had a double and two walks for a 2 RBI day.

West Michigan Whitecaps (High-A)

Final: Lake County 3 – West Michigan 0

Game notes: Whitecaps get shut 0ut despite doubles from Clark and Pacheco. Cobb continues his rehab assignment pitching 2.1 innings, surrendering 2 BB and striking out 2 as he threw a total of 34 pitches, 18 for strikes. Sears struck out 8 in 4.2 innings of relief, but also walked 4.

Lakeland Flying Tigers (Low-A)

Final: Daytona 10 – Lakeland 8

Game notes: Lakeland falls to Daytona in extra innings. Elissalt ended the day with a final line of 5 IP, 8 H, 4 R, 2 ER, and 7 K. He gave way to Harvey, Rodriguez, and Sloan who collectively let in 6 runs. Santana and Pennington both went yard.
