Game notes: Hatch delivered a masterful start today with 6 shutout innings for Omaha and 7 K on 107 pitches, a career high. The only run came from an RBI single in the 7th inning, putting t=Toledo ahead 1-0.

Erie SeaWolves (Double-A)

Final: Harrisburg 4 – Erie 3

Game Notes:

The SeaWolves took an early lead as Thayron Liranzo smashed a solo home run in the third inning. In the fifth inning, Jarvis added another solo HR for a 2-0 lead. Watson was solid on the mound, tossing 5 scoreless innings with 4 Ks. Harrisburg, however, battled back and ultimately won 4-3.

Game Notes:

The Whitecaps overtook Lake County as Stephenson homered on a fly ball to left field in the first inning, then Jenkins hit a grand slam. The offense continued as Murr tripled in the fourth, putting the Caps up 10-1 in the fourth. Alba pitched a scoreless gem, and the bullpen closed it out.

Today was a blowout for the Flying Tigers as their offense erupted early in the fourth inning and Elissalt pitched a gem. Montero was Tampa’s only hope, collecting two singles and reaching safely in both the 2nd and 7th innings. The Tigers shut out the Tarpons.

FCL Tigers (Rookie Ball)

The Florida Complex League Tigers overtook the Yankees 8-7. The Yankees scored first with a home run and a single, but the Tigers’ offense answered back with a double and three singles.

The DSL Tigers 1 fell to the Nationals as the offense was good but not good enough. Martinez let in 4 runs in the ninth as the Tigers lost 10-7.
