Toledo Mud Hens (Triple-A)

Game notes:

This game started off with another rehab start for offseason acquisition, Jose Urquidy who threw two innings of three run ball. A few other Mud Hens starting pitchers threw in relief, including Keider Montero, Sawyer Gipson-Long, and Wilkel Hernandez. Eduardo Valencia continues his hot streak as he blasted a three run blast in the bottom of the fourth inning. The Hens tied the game in the sixth before St. Paul came back with a go-ahead single in the top of the ninth to finish the game.

Erie SeaWolves (Double-A)

Game notes:

The SeaWolves offense lit up tonight with 15 hits and 10 runs. 2022 draft pick, Danny Serretti belted his third home run of the season over the fence from the 9-hole. Cleanup hitter, Justice Bigbie, directly took part in four runs and was followed by two doubles from Jake Holton. Max Alba took the bump and provided a stable four innings and was followed by a dominant outing from Carlos Pena who struck out six while keeping New Hampshire off the board. The SeaWolves are 72-51.

West Michigan Whitecaps (High-A)

Final: Great Lakes 1 – West Michigan 2

Game notes:

The Tigers High-A team played a tight-knit game against the Dodgers High-A team. Both teams scored in their halves of the first inning, then went radio silent on offense until extra innings struck. Throughout the game, the Whitecaps pitching kept the tie until Patrick Lee drove in the go-ahead run in the top of the 10th inning. Rising prospect, Moises Rodriguez, closed the door for the win to make the Whitecaps 86-36 and become 50 games over .500.

Lakeland Flying Tigers (Single-A)

Final: St. Lucie 3 – Lakeland 0

Lakeland played a weather induced shortened game today that lasted only five innings. The bats never got going in the limited time the offense had but only struck out twice out of their 15 outs. Carlos Marcano tossed four innings of work and punched out six batters. Lakeland is 70-49.
