Wood most notably threw a no-hitter for the Arkansas Razorbacks in the College World Series back in June. Ricardo Hurtado put on his hitting shoes, as he scored and drove in two runs each. Luke Stofel took the bump and threw three innings of three run ball, with only two being earned. He was followed by Jorger Petri who threw an excellent three scoreless innings. Ethan Sloan came into the game in the ninth to shut down the door and sent the Flying Tigers back to the Florida State League Championship Series searching for a second consecutive title.
