Game notes:

Toledo put a beating on Louisville both yesterday and today. Lockhart got the start for Toledo, and his night ended after 4.2 innings with a final line of 7 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 0 BB, 3 K. Seelinger came out for the final out of the fifth inning, followed by Woo-Suk Go in the sixth, who pitched 1.1 innings total and surrendered one unearned run at the top of the seventh on a throwing error. Hurter relieved Go and pitched 1.2 innings of scoreless baseball, and Mattison closed it out for Toledo, pitching one inning and striking out two. Toledo’s bats got started early, scoring two in the bottom of the second inning. They’d come right back in the third to score four on a walk, a double by Jace Jung, and two pairs of singles. Jung, Workman, Anderson, and Cruz all ended the night with 2 RBI, and Serven with 3 for another blowout win. Toledo is 78-64.

Game notes:

Alba got the start for Erie today, and his final line was 3.2 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 2 BB, 5 K. He gave way to Pena for the last out of the fourth, and would go on to pitch 3.1 innings of one-run ball. Guasch took the final two innings, only surrendering one hit but no runs. The Seawolves entered the bottom of the third down 2-1, until McGonigle homered to tie the game. His home run was followed by three singles, and a Roberto Campos grand slam to make it 6-2 Erie. They would score two more in the bottom of the fourth on a Briceño walk and a Bigbie home run, and go on to win their 82nd game of the season.
